general terms of business
The following terms and conditions apply to all orders submitted to us
in writing, over the telephone, via email or through the website
www.wendelin.at. These terms and conditions come into effect as soon as
the order has been made.
DELIVERY
Shipping and delivery
Free delivery is made within Austria for orders over 24 bottles. For
deliveries abroad, transport costs and other expenses, for example
customs duties, will be charged to the customer. We deliver from our
vineyard to a specified delivery address, unless otherwise agreed. We
will attempt to complete all deliveries within three working days of
confirmation of the order, and within ten days at the most.
Retention of Title
Delivered wine remains our property until full and complete payment has
been made. Since we cannot take back opened goods, no payment may be
withheld, or claims made, for any unpaid goods which have been opened.
USAGE
We cannot and will not accept orders from minors. Underage customers
must be aware that they are not entitled to use of our online shop at
www.wendelin.at. All details necessary for the successful completion of
billing and delivery, particularly name and address, must be given
accurately and in full.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Items are billed at the price on the day of the orders. All prices
include 20% VAT (Mehrwertsteuer). Payment is due from the moment of
delivery and must be made within seven days of the order, without
exception. Payment can be made via the bank transfer slip that
accompanies the delivery or by direct transfer to the following account:

We will gladly deliver internationally, as long as the first order is
paid in advance.
COMPLAINTS AND GUARANTEES
The customer may refuse to accept a delivery if the delivered wine has
suffered damage in transit or is shown to be in other ways defective.
Complaints must be made within seven days of the delivery in writing
(Weingut Wendelin, Neustiftgasse 59, 7122 Gols, Austria), by telephone
(+43 (0)2173 / 2481) or via email (wein@wendelin.at). After seven days
the right to refund no longer applies. If agreed by us, damaged goods
can be returned to our vineyard at our expense. Opened goods will not
be accepted.
DATA PROTECTION
All information (for example, name and address), which is provided to
us in the course of submitting an order, will be treated confidentially
by us and will not be passed on to a third party.
CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to alter the above terms and conditions at any
time. Orders existing at the time of alteration will not be affected.
The valid terms and conditions at the moment of ordering apply for that
order.
PLACE OF JURISDICTION
For all matters relating to our business, Austrian law applies. The
competent court is the Bezirksgericht of Neusiedl am See.
